Atmospheric, stable in Bethlehem, the dove hears the new-born cry and remembers bringing a sprig of green as a sign of peace and now God’s promise is renewed. Hymn-like in parts, some unison passages. A minor, moving to A major on “renewed”. Three tempo changes.

Bouncy 6/8 rhythm, some 2/4, an intro with altos singing on “p’ng”, the sound of the spring in the boots. Each verse he jumps higher till he goes to the moon and never comes back.
